Vella — Operator & Kernel

Demo guide

About Vella

Five linked surfaces across four lanes: v4 live organism, v5 kernel, v6 organism prototype, and v7 synthesis.

Build: Operator v4.26 · Kernel v5.0 · Prototype v6.0 · Synthesis v7.0

Step 1
v4 · live organism surface
v4.26 Operator (Shell v2)
Live synthetic organism view with Shell v2 visualization, stress scenario controls, and autocalming drives. This is the current production operator surface.
Source: /api/v4/organism/state · auto-refresh · stress scenario available.

Step 2
v5 · kernel lane
Operator v5 (kernel preview)
Read-only operator frame bound to kernel v5 via Shell v3. Shows how a future organism operator can be driven by the kernel lane without touching v4.

Step 3
v5 · kernel metrics
Kernel mini console
Raw kernel v5 console showing ticks, energy, stress, drive mix, and recent pattern. Best used side-by-side with Operator v5 for full shell + kernel context.

Step 4
v6 · organism prototype
V6 organism prototype
Organism-shaped band + drive surface derived from kernel v5. Read-only prototype lane for future engine work.
Source: /api/v6/organism/prototype · view-layer only · experimental.

Step 5
v7 · synthesis layer
V7 organism synthesis
Top-level synthesis band & drives, derived from kernel v5 and v6 prototype. Read-only view for future integration.
Source: /api/v7/organism/synthesis · view-layer synthesis · experimental.

Build notes
Show build notes
• v4.26 operator is the live organism surface.
• v5 kernel is a synthetic, numerically stable drive engine.
• v6 prototype maps kernel stability → organism-like "bands."
• v7 synthesis merges kernel + prototype for future organism lanes.
• All lanes run independently with shared health snapshots.

Demo Script
1. Start at the v4 surface (Operator v4.26). Note behavior name + next behavior timer.
2. Move to Operator v5: highlight kernel-bound visual, live status pill, and prototype lanes.
3. Open Kernel Mini Console in a second tab to show raw metrics + live tick updates.
4. Visit the v6 prototype and highlight band mapping + organism-like shape.
5. Visit v7 synthesis: show merged environment, drives, and stability synthesis.
6. Return to the Demo Guide to show cross-lane architecture and health state.
